Abracadabra Statement on Ukrainian War

We would like to push an update on the dire situation of the Ukrainian war. This is a war that deeply scars the European Continent, one that has escalated incredibly quickly and has affected people all around the world.

We haven’t seen a war like this where so many nations have gotten involved since WWII, and we have also never seen a situation like this unfold on social media, making the situation closer to everyone than ever.

As you may know, a large part of the Abracadabra development team is based in Ukraine, and is therefore deeply affected by the latest development in the region. We can now gladly say that the team is safe, with adequate shelter and food. We haven’t communicated anything until now as it was our priority to make sure that they were safe.

Everyone is of course monitoring the situation, we hope that the worst has passed for the people in Ukraine as well as the innocent Russians who do not feel represented by any of the decisions that have been made by their nation.

We would like to thank users and peers that reached out and showed support to our Ukrainian team members in this moment of need.
